Upgrading the sandbox and Solar Testing Progress

I was over the moon earlier this week. I got an email from Adafruid telling me Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+ were in stock.  I was lucky enough to pick one up and it came in the mail today. I plan on using this Raspberry Pi in the sandbox to match the rover.

Solar Test 16 is still going strong 30 day in. Another success in my book. I am going to take the time a write up a build sheet on the Solar Test 16 until and post that in the KB and in the Hackaday contest.

Solar test is a Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+ with a single 10K mAh battery and 4 solar panels. It also has a AdaFruid M0 as a power controller that shuts down the Pi at night and starts it up again in the morning. I am interested if I could keep it running 24×7, That may work in the summer time when there is more sunlight per day.
